How it works
- 1
Intake and scope
An intake call to understand the organisation and confirm which domains are in scope.
- 2
Desk assessment
Independent desk analysis across each domain, scored for likelihood and exposure.
- 3
Debrief and report
A workshop debrief, a written report, a visual exposure map, and a watch list.
How the judgement is expressed
| Green, 2–3 | Monitor periodically. |
|---|---|
| Amber, 4–5 | Active monitoring required. |
| Red, 6–8 | Immediate leadership attention. A board briefing on the Complex tier. |
What you receive
- Intake and scoping document
- Operating Environment Review report
- Visual exposure map
- Watch list and implications summary
- Workshop debrief
What a finding looks like
An illustrative example, written to show the form of the work. It is not a client record.
- Domain
- D2 Economic & Financial Conditions
- Score
- Amber, 5
- Exposure
- A material share of income is contracted in one currency, and it renews within twelve months.
- Watch
- The next funding decision, and the rate the budget assumes.
Why this practice
Independent
No institutional agenda. No membership base to protect. The analysis follows what the evidence shows, not what it is convenient to say.
Analytical
It sits in the Lyceum’s tradition of independent political and institutional enquiry. The findings follow the evidence.
Practical
Findings become exposure ratings, watch-list items, and implications leadership can use. Not a catalogue of risks. A tool for planning.
Proportionate
Four tiers, from Lite to Complex. Scoped to your organisation, not to a template.
