Organisational Health Review
Independent judgement of organisational quality.
The OHR is an independent, evidence-based assessment of an organisation’s overall health and continued viability across seven domains, from mission and governance to people, operations, and financial sustainability.
What it is
A professional judgement of organisational quality, grounded in evidence, and written in plain language boards and leadership teams can act on. The report is first person. It does not hedge. The roadmap is mapped to effort, impact, and time horizon.
What it is not
It is not a compliance audit or a regulatory inspection. It is independent professional judgement, not an audit, not a regulatory review, and not a substitute for either.
What makes it different
Mission coherence as the organising lens
Every domain is assessed through one question: is this organisation structured and behaving in ways that serve its mission?
A behavioural risk lens throughout
Surfacing groupthink, ethical fading, deference to authority, and optimism bias: the patterns that produce organisational failure most reliably, and that standard frameworks most reliably miss.
Principles-based, not rules-based
Assessed against gold-standard practice, not regulatory minimums.

What a finding looks like
An illustrative example, written to show the form of the work. It is not a client record.

- Observation
- The minutes record the decision. They do not record who was asked to act, or by when.
- Roadmap
- Add an owner and a date to the minute template. Low effort, near term.

What to expect
A board-ready report, written to be used.
Plain language. First person. It says what I observed and what I believe. The roadmap is mapped to effort, impact, and time horizon, so the board can act, not merely note.
